He also tightened some other pipe elements which were loose. He responsed very quickly and was at the door within ten minutes of our phone conversation. Polite and pleasant, with a good sense of humour. Would definitely use him again. Absolutely recommend to others.

Originally we were very happy with the shower replacement that the plumber installed for us so we paid him and left 5 star reviews on Google and Checkatrade. However we discovered that the hot water was not working shortly after the plumber had left.

We raised this with him and he denied that this was his doing but could take a look the next day if he gets time. On the day he said he's leaving now and will charge us £90 but by the time I read the message he was already here (~30 mins).

He fixed the issue that he caused and still wanted to charge £90. I would expect a tradesperson would be eager to fix a mistake instead of charging again for it.

We had debated this my mum corrected him as he made incorrect assumptions on our boiler system (we have lived here for 20 years and know how it works). Once he was corrected he started to speak in a condescending manner, taking advantage of the fact my mum doesn't speak fluent English.

We paid him regardless just to avoid any headache but he told me over the phone that all Pakistanis/Indians are the same and they try to scam and get out of paying. This is again incorrect because we paid him instantly for the shower replacement and the callout to fix the hot water. It is incredibly ignorant.

I would definitely avoid this plumber. Especially if you are from a south Asian background.
